Is there a minimum number of people required for booking a tour?
There is no minimum number required to book a tour, however on the rare occasion that there are less than two participants on any given tour, arrangements will be made to arrange an alternative tour date if possible. This is an extremely rare scenario. If no compromise can be reached, a full refund will be given.
Where do we meet before the tour?
At the time of booking please inform us what hotel you are staying in.
For logistical reasons we cannot guarantee to pick up everybody from their hotel, but we have several centrally placed pick-up points around the city.
You will be contacted directly to arrange pick-up before the tour date.
The same guidelines will apply for drop-off at the end of each day, however please note that we make every effort to accommodate customers in any way possible.
What is your cancellation policy?
Due to limited space on our tours, our cancellation policy is as follows:
If you cancel at least 7 calendar days in advance, there is no cancellation fee.
If you cancel between 3 and 6 calendar days in advance, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 2 calendar days in advance, you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.
We may be able to reschedule a tour for you if unforeseen circumstances arise. This is based on tour availability.
These guidelines do not apply for multi-day tours and multi day shuttle transfers. We will require 60 days notice multi day shuttle transfers.
Multi day tour cancellation policies
Guest cancellation: If you are subject to a Country/State/Province stay-at-home ordinance (due to the COVID-19 pandemic), and thus are unable to get to your bike tour, then you may cancel your tour and receive a full refund (not including your airfare). However, if your flight is canceled because of COVID-19 (or canceled for any other reason), then we will not be able to issue any refunds on your tour price (or on your lost airfare). For this reason, we recommend that all our guests consider purchasing travel insurance.
Tour cancellation by Into The Wild: We will cancel a tour if local, province or federal authorities prohibit us from running the tour because of COVID-19. Under these circumstances we will refund everyone in full.
COVID-19 illnesses: If any of our vaccinated guests come down with COVID-19, either before or during the bike tour, they will not be allowed to take part in the tour, and ITW will not be able to issue any refunds. For this reason, we recommend that all our guests consider purchasing travel insurance.
Cancellations not related to COVID-19:
If you must cancel your reservation, you must do so in writing. If you cancel, then the cancellation refunds/penalties will be determined according to the policy outlined below:
Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to tour departure will receive a full refund, minus a $150 processing fee, per person.
Cancellations made 61-90 days prior to tour departure will be charged 30 percent of the full trip price.
Cancellations made 31-60 days prior to tour departure will be charged 60 percent of the full trip price.
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to tour departure will be charged 100% of the purchase price.
Changes to your reservation can be made to another tour date (subject to availability) with no penalty if made more than 60 days prior to original tour departure date. If you are within 60 days of your original departure date and choose to transfer to another tour, you will be charged a $150 processing fee per person and may be subject to additional cancellation fees (as stated above).
There are no refunds for arriving late, leaving a tour early, no-shows, personal emergencies, illnesses, fear of pandemics, or bad weather (either during the tour, or preventing you from making it to the tour). Into The Wild tours cannot make any exceptions to the above cancellation policies. For all the above reasons, we recommend that all our guests consider travel insurance coverage
Are children allowed on the tour?
Into The Wild is a family-friendly tour company and we have bicycles to suit all ages, including Trail A Bikes.
However please note, if you have young children or a child that is inexperienced and may not be able to complete the tour we encourage parents to book private family tours or use the Trail A Bikes system that connects a child's bike to the seat post of a parent. See our Bikes page to view the system.
We usually do not allow children younger than three years of age to use the Trail A Bike system because of the obvious problems that may arise.
At the time of booking please indicate the age of the children attending so we can arrange a bicycle to fit.
Please contact us if you have any further questions.
Do I have to book a tour in advance?
Spaces are limited on our tours to keep group sizes small, so we recommend booking in advance.

If you would like to book a tour for the same day please call us @ 778-877-6100 or by email intothewildtours@gmail.com
